The daughter of an artist and an engineer, Marlena recognizes that - together - beauty and order unite in thoughtful design.
Her childhood home on Redbud Lane served as the birthplace for creative musings and explorations. Armed with a fine arts degree in design, her passion for color, shape, typography, and hierarchy knows no bounds. These elements dance in harmony within her designs, eloquently conveying ideas to diverse audiences, from wedding guests to corporate clients.
Over the past fifteen years, she has specialized in the intricate art of custom wedding invitation design, infusing each creation with a unique touch that resonates with the essence of the couple's love story. Additionally, her eye for cohesion developed during ten years in advertising and marketing, and her commitment to product excellence has grown with four years in the printing industry.
Drawing inspiration from unexpected sources like thrift stores and the soulful tunes of Newgrass, her artistic journey is also propelled by the timeless grace of pen meeting paper. Nestled in the heart of Greenville, South Carolina, a ready source of inspiration for any artist, she is privileged to call a city that breathes design, her home.

The Redbud Lane Studio logo captures the essence of familial warmth and creativity, paying homage to its roots in a cherished family home.
