  • Engraving

    ENGRAVING

    Most Traditional | Raised | $$$

Engraving involves etching designs into a copper plate, inking the depressions, and wiping the surface clean. The paper is then pressed against the plate, creating an indented impression on the back. This method produces a distinctive, raised, and elegant look. (The average cost per suite is $25.*)

  • LETTERPRESS

    LETTERPRESS

    Traditional | Impressed | $$

Letterpress is a traditional printing method using cast metal type or plates with raised printing areas. Ink is applied to the raised surfaces and transferred to paper, resulting in sharp, crisp, impressed, and subtly tactile prints. (The average cost per suite is $22.*)

  • THERMOGRAPHY

    THERMOGRAPHY

    Modern | Raised | $

Thermography creates raised lettering or images by combining traditional offset printing, thermographic powder, and heat. This method produces a raised effect similar to engraving but is more cost-effective. (The average cost per suite is $16.*)

  • FOIL

    FOIL

    Modern | Slight Impression | $$

Foil stamping uses a heated plate or die to apply metallic or pigmented foil onto a surface, making it permanently adhere and leaving the design imprinted. (The average cost per suite is $20.*)

  • DIGITAL

    DIGITAL

    Modern | Flat | $

Digital (or flat) printing lays down a screen of colored dots (CMYK: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to produce a wide range of colors without additional cost. This flat printing method is versatile and cost-effective for multi-color prints. (The average cost per suite is $10.*)

  • BLIND EMBOSSING

    BLIND EMBOSSING

    Traditional Accent | Raised | $$$

This technique, similar to engraving but without ink, presses a plate into the paper to create a raised look.

*Average cost per suite is based on a 5-piece set in the Duchess size (largest, 6x9), 1-ply, without embellishments, in stock color, and a quantity of 125. This includes expert design, etiquette guidance, paper schedules, quality assurance, and more! Variations in quantity or embellishments (such as removing envelopes, adding ribbon, wax seals, liners, etc.) will affect the pricing, with each change typically resulting in a $1-$5 variance per item per set.
